This is going to be GOOD for a good cause!
Elton John and Lady GaGa have just signed on to appear with Sting and Dame Shirley Bassey at the the semi-annual Rainforest Fund benefit concert in New York City in May.
The event will be held at Carnegie Hall and marks the 21st birthday of the charitable organization founded by Sting and his wife Trudie Styler to help “protect and preserve the world’s threatened rainforest areas.”
Along with all the AMAZING performances, the even promises many special guests, a live auction and an elegant gala dinner following the concert.
Look for tickets to the concert to go on sale in early April at the Carnegie Hall box office. If you can manage it, we HIGHLY recommend getting a ticket. Not only are you in for a fantastic show, but you’ll be helping a rather noble cause.
We sure as hell wanna go!
