But we are happy to see Dionne Stacey Dash again!
Queen Latifah has written a new show for VH1 called Single Ladies. Revolving around the love lives of three female friends in Atlanta, the cast includes Lauren London, LisaRaye McCoy and Stacey. Sources are saying the show will bring the best of Girlfriends and Sex & The City into one show.
Stacey will be playing a celebrity stylist who is single for the first time, a role she can relate to. She explains:
“My character is very similar to my own life because I├óΓé¼Γäóve never been single. Literally, since I├óΓé¼Γäóve been 17 years old. She├óΓé¼Γäós never been married, the character than I’m playing, whereas I├óΓé¼Γäóve been married three times, so that├óΓé¼Γäós the difference. It├óΓé¼Γäós a really good script.”
Maybe it is, but it is going to need one hell of a lead-in to get some viewers.
