Guess these ballerinas just couldn’t hold their poses long enough.
ABC Family has officially cancelled their show Bunheads. Created by Amy Sherman Palladino — best known for her Gilmore Girls fame — and starring Broadway├óΓé¼Γäós very own Sutton Foster, the show didn├óΓé¼Γäót make it past its first season.
Upon news of the cancellation, ABC Family said:
“Bunheads is a wonderful series that we are very proud to have aired. The series had amazing storytelling, the most talented cast and a passionate and loyal fan base. Recognizing all of this, we took extra time to try and find ways to bring the series back for another season, but in the end it simply wasn’t possible. We wish the cast and crew the best in their future endeavors.”
Meanwhile, Sutton and some of the girls from the show’s ballet company took to Twitter to thank their fans:
