Amanda Bynes Sued By Mental Health Facility Over Unpaid Bills!

Amanda Bynes may be “doing great” in the months since she completed another stint in a rehab facility, but the facility isn’t done with her yet; it’s filing a lawsuit against the actress over an unpaid bill!
According to documents obtained by The Blast, the 33-year-old allegedly owes the Creative Care Treatment Center $2,467 for treatment she received back in February. The center alleges that Bynes “was a client at our dual diagnosis residential treatment center” where she stayed “for 2 days receiving inpatient treatment.”
The center writes in the lawsuit that its “monthly residential treatment rate is 37,000, divided by 30 days is $1,233.33 per day.” Because Bynes allegedly received treatment there for two days, on February 21 and February 22, that puts her bill at $2,467.

As explained on Creative Care’s website, the dual diagnosis treatment starts with a clinical assessment, followed by sessions with the center’s “resident psychiatrist, registered nurses, our clinical director, therapists, and any other conciliatory staff members.”
Back in March, we reported that the All That alum had checked herself into a wellness center after relapsing due to pressures of being back in the Hollywood spotlight, which came from announcing her comeback in Paper magazine late last year.
A source said at the time:

“Amanda went to rehab in January after suffering a setback which was the result of feeling pressure of being back in the spotlight after her Paper magazine cover. Amanda is continuing treatment with the assistance of mental health counselors and addiction specialists.”

The insiders said that Bynes suffered a setback not only from the headlines, but from the pressures of going on auditions again — something the sources said was “too much, too soon.”
Since receiving her treatment, however, the former child star is said to be in good spirits. According to the family’s lawyer Tamar Arminak, the star is on “great terms” with her family after making the decision to seek treatment earlier this year. 
Arminak recently revealed that Bynes “really wasn’t feeling like herself” after the Paper magazine spread and “wanted to address it right away before going back into show business and exploring show business again.”
Makes sense. Nip those issues in the bud, gurl!
Bynes’ lawyer went on to explain that, in addition to eyeing a showbiz comeback, Amanda is still studying and working with the Fashion Institute of Design and Manufacturing (FIDM), an acclaimed fashion school in downtown Los Angeles.
Arminak revealed that the actress “can’t wait to get back to the FIDM campus” and “be creative again,” and she’s really “[looking] forward to her fashion line coming out.”
We’re so glad to hear Amanda’s ready to get back on her feet… after she settles this tiny legal drama, of course!
