Guess who wins this verbals smack-down!
Word has reached the Vanderbilt ears of Anderson Cooper than Chris Brown has landed a role in the new film adaptation of Steve Harvey’s book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. On AC360 last night, Anderson had a few choice words to share with his audience about the casting of Chris and not to our surprise at all, he let Chris have it! He said:
“Ladies and gentlemen, particularly ladies, Chris Brown has been cast in a movie. And not just any movie, it’s a romantic comedy based on a self-help book about relationships. And I, for one, cannot imagine why this did not happen sooner because if there’s one thing you can say about Chris Brown, who’s currently on probation for viciously assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, he just oozes romance.”
Oooh! Burn!
Of course, Chris had to reply … via his Twitter … and with less eloquence:
“I guess people need ratings!!! Lol!!! It’s cool. Much love!”
Actually, that was a pretty mature response. Dare we say, we don’t think any studio windows were broken in the composing of that tweet. Perhaps Chris has grown up just a tad?!
One can only hope!
