After the redhead held up Donald Trump‘s bloody, severed head in a photoshoot, she was fired from CNN‘s New Year’s Eve Live and was replaced by the Watch What Happens Live host.
Despite the drama, the Bravo personality only had kind words for the funny lady. He told Stern:

“You know what, by the way, she’s like selling out all these venues [for her Laugh Your Head Off comedy tour]… She’s having a huge ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ she loves to have a comeback, she loves publicity. Everything’s good for her.”

When Howard asked:

“Do you feel used in a way?… Yes, you got the job on CNN, but why shouldn’t you get that job?”

Cohen said he is okay being Griffin’s victim of hatred.

“You know what, if you put it that way ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I got the job on CNN, I’m on Bravo all these hours ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I get it. So, hate me. I’ll be that guy for you, if it makes you happy and gives you peace. I’m just not going to take it on… I’m at peace. I’m a lover, not a fighter.”

In October 2017, after Andy told TMZ he doesn’t know Kathy, she shot back by saying he “treated [her] like a dog” and was “deeply misogynistic.” Griffin’s former reality TV show Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List aired from 2005-10 on Bravo, where Cohen was previously the head of development.
