Danny Booko knows he f**ked up on this season of The Valley!
If you’ve been watching, you are likely one of the many disgusted by the 42-year-old reality star after his behavior toward his wife, Nia Sanchez, who was roughly seven weeks postpartum during Season 3. And we don’t blame you! We are too! When the former pageant queen tried to eat a sandwich while they traveled with the cast to San Diego, she asked Danny to hold their baby. And what does he do? The actor doesn’t happily help Nia! No, he became very annoyed about having to HOLD HIS OWN BABY FOR A FEW MINUTES WHILE SHE ATE! WTF!
And that is only the beginning! Danny continued to act frustrated whenever Nia asked for more assistance with the baby during the vacation. He later yelled, belittled, and criticized her for not doing enough to help him in a drag competition! Mind you, she had taken care of and put their child to sleep without any help from him beforehand! He’s lucky she even chose to help him get ready! Even Lala Kent had to step in to say she felt “triggered” by how “aggressive” and “disrespectful” he was to Nia and wouldn’t want to know how he spoke to her behind closed doors if this is what he did on camera! And yet, an inebriated Danny didn’t stop arguing with Nia that night! Ugh!

Fans have been slamming Danny online for his gross and mean treatment of Nia and even excessive drinking throughout the season, rightfully so. Now, he is addressing the controversy. Danny took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday to issue an apology to Nia, writing:
“To the person I love most, my beautiful wife, I am so sorry. Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy. It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of. A short fuse, stress, alcohol and lack of sleep are never a good combination, but that’s not an excuse. I should never have taken any of it out on you.”
Yeah, you think?! Danny continued:
“Balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don’t fully realize until you see yourself through a different lens. I love, honor, and respect you deeply, and I did not show that in some of these moments. Nia, I love you so much. I’m grateful for you, our family, and this beautiful, chaotic life we’ve built together. I thank God for you every day.”
See the statement (below):

Despite the apology, Danny and Nia did defend themselves during the After Show on Wednesday. He insisted their heated fight had nothing to do with having their daughter:
“This is number four. You think I haven’t done this three other times? I know exactly how to support my wife.”
Well, obviously not! He couldn’t even hold the baby, so she could eat a sandwich without getting snippy! For her part, Nia also swore their argument doesn’t reflect how they communicate in their marriage when the cameras are down:
“One thing with me and Daniel, in our relationship in general, yes, we have tense moments; yes, we can be short with each other. Sometimes we’re in this beautiful season where everything is really good, and sometimes it’s not. And what people will see through this window of time is, there were so many tense moments, and we were short with each other and had short fuses a lot. That doesn’t mean that we have a bad relationship. It just means that we were having hard moments. And we’ll keep working on it, because we’re in it for the long run. And we’ve been together for a long time. And we know that those moments don’t define our entire relationship.”
All we have to say then is: Do better, Danny! You don’t speak to your partner that way ever! And something clearly needs to change because this is not the first time we’ve heard about his disturbing behavior while intoxicated! See their explanation for the fight (below):
The post came hours before Danny was supposed to appear on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen with Luke Broderick, who is also in the dog house for his behavior while Kristen Doute is postpartum. However, he backed out at the last minute! Andy Cohen insisted Danny wasn’t trying to avoid discussing the backlash but “booked a job and had to cancel to work” instead. The Bravo king added:
“I believe him because if he canceled because he was scared to come here, we would have heard from our publicist that he’s not up for it.”
Besides, Andy noted that Danny will attend the reunion, so he’ll still have to “deal” with the controversy then anyway. Good! He has more apologizing to do in our book! See the WWHL clip (below):
