Andy Cohen chimes in!
As we reported, Kim Cattrall SLAMMED Sarah Jessica Parker over the weekend for publicly sharing her condolences — on Kim’s Instagram page and to multiple outlets — following the death of Cattrall’s brother Chris.
In the heated social media post, the actress — who famously played “Samantha Jones” — accuses SJP of “exploiting [her] tragedy in order to restore [Sarah’s] ‘nice girl’ persona.”‘

On Monday, the Bravo host discussed the Sex and the City feud on his SiriusXM radio channel Radio Andy, and says he couldn’t believe Cattrall would publicly write something so harsh. He explains:
“I thought it was fake… There was no way Kim Cattrall has posted this on her Instagram.”
In the end, Cohen defends Parker’s actions, and doesn’t believe she was “exploiting” Kim’s loss at all! We totally agree with Andy!
“She expressed her condolences on the post ├óΓé¼┬ª I would not call that exploiting a tragedy… What was she supposed to do? Say something bad? I don’t understand… I also don’t like it that people are characterizing this as a fat catfight. There’s only one person fighting here.”
Earlier this month, prior to the aforementioned spat, Sarah went on Watch What Happens Live! and she said she was “heartbroken” over Kim’s claim that she was never friends with any of her castmates.
One thing is for sure… Carrie and Samantha are officially over!
