For Anna Kendrick, who hits that milestone in August, it’s more like thirty, flirty, and thriving!

The singer-slash-actress-slash-author-slash-everything is actually really pumped to put her twenties behind her! She blabbed about her birthday at Friday’s Pitch Perfect 2 premiere, saying:

“I feel great about it! I felt like when I turned 29 I was like, ‘well, that’s basically thirty!'” So I’ve been sort of saying that I’m thirty for a year, so it’s going to be an easy transition.”

What made Anna so optimistic about growing older? She’s been told for years that hitting the big 3-0 is aca-AWESOME, and not this terrifyingly traumatic experience it’s built up to be!

“I remember I was 21 and a friend of mine was turning 30 and she was like ‘it’s so great.’ And I was like ‘I can’t wait!’ And she was like ‘you’re being sarcastic, but it is great.’ And I was like ‘I’m not being sarcastic! I literally can’t wait!'”

While she’s super stoked for the big day, don’t expect a big bash from this superstar.
