Zach Braff must be having quite a hearty laugh at all the critics who slammed him for relying on Kickstarter campaign to help finance his new directorial effort, Wish I Was Here!
The flick, which will tell the story of a man dealing with the news that his father is dying, has already cast Kate Hudson and Mandy Patinkin…and now, has ALSO signed the supreme talents of Anna Kendrick and The Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons, the latter of whom you may recall as the HIGHlarious “Knight” from Garden State!
Furthermore, the project is now closed to further donations, as it has PASSED the $3 million donation mark!
Which means before we even know it, we’ll have a brand new, psuedo-sequel to his 2004 smash on our hands!
Braff took to Twitter Friday to share his excitement and appreciation:
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I won’t let you down! Lets do this. twitter.com/zachbraff/stat├óΓé¼┬ª
