Ariel Winter has NO TIME for your shade!
On Monday evening, the 20-year-old industry vet attended a Modern Family For Your Consideration event in Los Angeles with her costars. And the longtime castmates clearly had a fun time as, shortly after the outing, Sarah Hyland took to Instagram to share a snap from the red carpet.

Alongside a pic of the Modern Family gang laughing, Miz Hyland noted that she “love[s] these people with all [her] heart.” However, not everyone was so optimistic, as trolls soon flooded the comments section. Specifically, Sarah’s on-screen sister received hate for being “thirsty.”
One IG user quipped:
“Why does Ariel look so thirsty all the time?”
Ugh. How’s it over there in the shade, bro???
Thankfully, Ariel is used to haters by now and offered up quite the clapback! In response to the social media critic, Winter clapped back:
“@kiiinnyy I’m SO thirsty!!! Haven’t had water in hours. God I can’t believe you can tell I’m dehydrated from this pic.”
YASSSS. You tell ’em, girl!
Wells Adams‘ lady jumped in on the shade too, as she added:
“I can’t believe they saw that you were dehydrated as well! I was with you in person and couldn’t tell!!!! DO YOU NEED WATER?? I’ll come bring you some! I’ll be over in 2 minutes.”
But all jokes aside, the 27-year-old advised her fans to not “leave negative comments on [her] page about [her] sister!!!”
