It’s no secret that Ariel Winter doesn’t take kindly to bullying.
Earlier this year, the Modern Family star called out Vine star Nash Grier for a “homophobic and ignorant” video, and even put Kim Kardashian West‘s haters on blast in defense of the reality star’s latest nude selfie.
And since the 18-year-old is so vocal in standing up to those who tear people down, Cosmo thought she would be the perfect choice to take on five of the most iconic “b*tches” in the history of TV and film!

Channeling her inner queen bee, Winter dons several iconic outfits of big screen mean girl royalty like Amber from Clueless, Heather Chandler from Heathers, and, of course, the ultimate Mean Girl — Regina George!
And even though these queens of cattiness are adored by of fans of the cult classics the come from, the actress made it clear that she doesn’t idolize these nasty archetypes, explaining:
“I don’t really admire somebody who deliberately goes out of her way to hurt other people. Being mean to people is not cool. And why I found it so awesome to do this shoot and play these characters is that I’m right now trying to speak out against bullying and people tearing others down, and I love that I got to play these characters and trump them in a sense. I got to overtake them. What they do is not right ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and I’m above it.”
Stand up to those imaginary characters, girl! After all, literally everyone has felt personally victimized by Regina George at one point or another.
