We are still in shock over Avicii‘s passing.
Especially, as more details regarding the Wake Me Up artist’s alleged suicide have leaked to the press. On Tuesday, it was reported that the late hitmaker took his own life by using broken glass to cut himself. Yikes.

According to TMZ, multiple sources have confirmed that the chart topper did, in fact, commit suicide — something his parents alluded to in their second statement.
It’s said that the celebrated Swedish DJ’s death was brought about by a shard of glass which caused massive bleeding. Specifically, two insiders claimed Avicii broke a bottle and used the remains to end his life. The bottle in question may’ve been wine.
There are some inconsistencies in the report, as two sources state Avicii’s point of injury was around his neck, while another confidant disputes this and claims the late producer slashed his wrists. The webloid was unable to confirm either of these points, but each of the tipsters were privy to information regarding the late music maker’s passing.
In case you were unaware, in April, Avicii was found dead in Oman at the age of 28. He had struggled with his health for years, as the EDM star even had to retire from live performing in 2016. One struggle Avicii faced was acute pancreatitis, which was brought on from excessive drinking.
