Bad girls, whatcha gonna do? Theresa Randle, best known for her role in the Bad Boys franchise, was arrested this week!
According to law enforcement sources for TMZ on Thursday, police were first called to a home in the Los Angeles area for an alleged assault on Saturday, October 5. Whoa! What happened? Officer Charles Miller, a public information officer for the Los Angeles Police Department, told the Los Angeles Times that an argument had broken out between Theresa and another person. She then allegedly struck the victim. OMG! By the time cops arrived at the scene, TMZ insiders said the 59-year-old actress was gone, so they only took a report.

Two days later though, they received another call from the same location about a possible domestic issue and restraining order violation. This time, when officers arrived at the house, Theresa was there. Per the LA Times, police arrested her for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon over the incident from over the weekend. WHOA! What was the weapon?? Turns out it doesn’t matter. Theresa got lucky — she was released on Wednesday and not officially charged as the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office chose not to pursue the case.
At this time, she has not addressed the shocking arrest.
Theresa has done a lot of good work over the years, especially in the ’90s. She was in Space Jam, Spike Lee‘s Girl 6, and Malcolm X. But she’s probably best known for portraying Theresa Burnett, Martin Lawrence‘s wife, in the Bad Boys movies. However, she was replaced last year with Tasha Smith for Bad Boys: Ride or Die. No reason was given for her exit, but it’s been speculated she has medical issues that are keeping her from returning to the big screen. She has not acted since 2020’s Bad Boys For Life.
