This seems like a worst nightmare for a company.
They’re setting their customers on FIRE!
We guess it’s bad for the customers too, being on fire and all.
Banana Boat sunscreen, specifically the brands like UltraMist Sport, UltraMist Ultra Defense and UltraMist Kids are being RECALLED.
They’ve sold some 20 million units since the brand launched in 2010.
A company spokesperson said:
“If a consumer comes into contact with a flame or spark prior to complete drying of the product on the skin, there is a potential for the product to ignite.”
They’re blaming a faulty spray valve which is leading to over-application of their product.
So you take longer to dry and if you’re near an open flame, since sunscreen is basically alcohol, you could combust!
So if you have Banana Boat spray-on sunscreen├óΓé¼┬ª DON’T USE IT!
Unless you’re a stuntman in a Michael Bay action movie or something we guess. LOLz!
