But it looks like Chris Brown‘s skirted plaid outfit for his 2014 BET Awards stage show was inspired by history, grandma’s closet and Nickelodeon!
And before you judge our words too harshly, let us explain the identical ensembles…
We immediately thought that Breezy’s button up was very Paul Bunyan-esq! The only thing missing was the lumberjack’s big blue ox:
He was also #twinning with Lil Wayne — which was adorbz:
He used the shirt’s significant length to copy our fav football head, Hey Arnold!:
And he wasn’t afraid of the big bad wolf during his multiple song performance — but his shirt was fit for grandma, or the perfect take on Christmas PJ’s:
