And Jill Zarin thought her weekend sucked!

Bethenny Frankel shared a frightening story this morning. She explained that she and her husband, Jason Hoppy, were lost at sea for 20 excruciating hours after a sailing trip went terribly wrong.

The couple were off in Nantucket, MA with their Bravo crew this weekend when the ship they were on was hit by a “big wave,” according to the captain. The wave managed to disable the ship’s GPS device and the 10 passengers on board went into panic mood. Bethenny recalls:

“We were in the middle of the deep sea with no land or anybody near us. The captain had never, in 30 years, called the Coast Guard … I was thinking, Oh, my God, Bryn! I’m not going to be there at six o’clock in the morning when she wakes up and she’s going to wonder where Mommy is and gosh, if something were to happen to me, what would happen to her. I was having horrendous thoughts.”

Thankfully, Bryn got her Mommy back as the Coast Guard was finally able to find them.

What an ordeal. We can’t even imagine the terror that they were feeling. Twenty hours out in open water, with no communication. We have chills.

We’re so happy you and Jason are safe, Bethenny. How’s about you stay on land for a little while, ‘kay?!
