As you might’ve already heard, in the grand tradition of Housewives seeking notoriety, Bethenny Frankel is attempting to expand her ever growing empire even further with a new syndicated daytime talk show. The pilot has already been shot and she’s been shopping it around for awhile, but no one seems to biting. What gives?
According to sources, Bethenny seems to think her rough, New York attitude isn’t as accepted by audiences as she would like us all to think. In fact, there is some concern that her manner is just too “abrasive” and too aggressive├óΓé¼┬¥ for the normal, American audience – and station managers. Thus, she is seeking out ways to tone down her ‘tude in order to appeal to a wider demographic. She has hired Henry Higgins a coach to help her learn to speak “more slowly├óΓé¼┬¥ and be “nicer” when interacting with people.
But, but, but …. that’s not the Bethenny people love!
Look, we get that you are trying to widen your audience, but you can’t ignore fans you have to do so. We want spunk. We want abrasive. We want loud-mouth, balls-to-the-wall, over-the-top diva Bethenny. And we know we’re not alone.
Be true to yourself, B. It’s gotten you this far!
