Looks like Bethenny Frankel will be facing off against ex Jason Hoppy in court once more.
However, this time around, the legal drama is a lot scarier. As we previously reported, the businessman was arrested last week for stalking and harassing the mother of his child. It’s said this arrest was made after Hoppy verbally threatened to “destroy” Miz Frankel in front of their six-year-old daughter’s school. Oh, and Jason also sent the 46-year-old over 150 harassing emails in the span of three months!

Homeboy’s unhinged. Thankfully, the Skinnygirl founder has since been granted a six-month restraining from her daughter Bryn‘s father. Phew!
Nonetheless, Jason’s attorney, named Robert C. Gottlieb, is eager to fight the accusations in court as he told DailyMail.com:
“We look forward to having all the evidence and the truth exposed in a courtroom.”
Yeah, sure, bud. Bethenny’s legal counsel, named Barry Zone, expanded on the specifics about the “abuse” inflicted upon the Bravolebrity as he shared in a statement:
“Ms. Frankel’s decision to report Mr. Hoppy’s abusive behavior followed years of systematic bullying, harassment, stalking and torment on an almost daily basis. Indeed, Mr. Hoppy has sent hundreds of escalating texts and emails to Ms. Frankel, her assistants and her boyfriend, demanding that she meet with Mr. Hoppy unnecessarily, stating that ‘I’ll never go away’ and that ‘[y]ou left me no choice but to go to extremes’, claiming that her ‘definition of harassment is comical’ and that he will ‘continue to communicate with [her] as [he] see[s] fit’, requesting copies of her life insurance policy, and telling her that ‘I’ll pray for you.'”
If this is true, we’d want a restraining order too! Although, we do find it ironic that Bethenny is having her lawyer use the phrase “systematic bullying” after she gave former Real Housewives of New York costar Kelly Bensimon a hard time for using the exact same statement in regard to the Scary Island trip.
Anywho, the RHONY vet’s lawyer continued:
“These acts of mental and psychological abuse are domestic violence, pure and simple. No woman, celebrity or not, deserves to have their allegations of such abuse taken lightly, and we are grateful to the NYPD for their immediate action to protect Ms. Frankel.”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves! Regardless, Jason is maintaining his innocence as his attorney concluded:
“There are no words to express how saddened Mr. Hoppy is over his ex-wife’s unjustified actions. His only concern is his daughter and intends to vigorously fight these false charges.”
Huh. If you’re feeling conflicted about this whole situation, there’s no need to fret since Bethenny’s Bravo hit has been filming throughout all of this drama — so it looks like we’ll all being getting a front row seat to the latest face off between the former flames.
