Bethenny Frankel Tries To Escape Her Custody Battle With A Book Signing, But It Did NOT Go As Planned! Yikes!

bethenny frankel stormed out of bea because no fans showed up to her signing ouch
Ooooohhh! Kelly Bensimon would LOVE this news!
Bethenny Frankel showed up to the Book Expo of America in New York yesterday only to be met with some extreme disappointment!
The Skinnygirl creator was at BEA to sign her children’s book Cookie Meets Peanut, and probably to distract herself from the extremely crazy custody battle she has right now, but it seems only a handful of fans lined up to meet the newly minted author!
That’s not all!
Due to the poor turnout, Bethenny reportedly stormed out of the event 30 minutes early AND blamed the poor attendance on other people!!
Totally and completely RUDE!
Sources said:

“At 2:15 p.m., there were four people in line for Bethenny. Representatives for her publisher were sent out around the expo to recruit people to come to her stand. Through sheer hard work they managed to get some people over.
After blaming others for the poor turnout, Bethenny left the show early. There really weren’t that many people who showed up. I don’t think she stayed past 2:30.”

Yikes that doesn’t sound too good! Sending people out to get fans?!
However, a source close to Bethenny is claiming the complete opposite!
They confirmed that she did leave early, but not til 2:45 AND they said that around 100 people were in line to get their books signed!
Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen, but still, leaving early was super rude!
What if an actual fan was running late and made it there at 2:55 only to find out she was gone!?!
Not nice, gurlfriend!
