We caught wind that Beyoncé may have a new fragrance called Rise in the works for her Beyhive, but now her fragrance marketer has stepped forward on her behalf to CONFIRM that this is indeed the case!!
Marsha Brooks, vice president of global marketing for Coty Beauty, not only made this epic news official; she was also kind enough to describe what Mrs. Carter was going for with the latest scent!
She divulged:
“The fragrance concept is a about female empowerment and finding the inner strength that makes women so beautiful, overcoming adversity, and rising above it all. We’re getting a little bit more intimate and personal with this next initiative we are doing. The time has come for something more natural and emotional.”
How glorious does that sound?? Almost as good as Bey’s new album, right!? LOLz!
But the best news of all is that we’ll barely have to wait any time to get our paws on the latest juice!
It’ll be shipped to 30,000 retailers globally at the beginning of January, so everyone and their mother will have a chance to snag a bottle for their loved one just in time for Valentine’s Day. Brilliant!!
Prices are as follows: a half-ounce eau de parfum for $19.99, a 1-oz. bottle for $39, a 1.7-oz. bottle for $49, a 3.4-oz. bottle for $59, and finally a $24 body lotion and a $22 shower gel.
We’d like four in each size, PLZ!! Ha!
