It seems Bill Belichick is determined to draw a clear line in the sand between his personal and professional life. Couldn’t come too soon for many who have spoken out in his inner circle!
After his disastrous CBS Sunday Morning interview, which thrust his age-gap romance into the spotlight the last few weeks — and brutally ruined his book press tour — Bill was back for his first TV interview on ESPN‘s SportsCenter on Tuesday.
There’s been a LOT of chatter about how his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson has been running the show behind the scenes, essentially acting as his manager and rep in all his latest business dealings (which hasn’t always worked out in his favor). The 73-year-old is the new head coach at the University of North Carolina, his first huge job since leaving the Patriots and his first time coaching college ball. It’s a big deal, but all this Jordon drama reportedly has folks at the school worried AF!

Naturally, the topic came up in his interview when he was asked if this would have an “impact” on his coaching abilities. Bill is clearly aware of the issues! He made it very clear to the SportsCenter fans that Jordon will not stand in his way. He replied:
“That’s really off to the side. It’s a personal relationship. She doesn’t have anything to do with UNC football.”
Damn!!!
He’s really changed his tune! Reports claimed Jordon was a “constant presence” during the CBS taping, including by shutting down a question about how they met. She was totally hands-on — and now she’s getting kicked to the curb.
This change comes after Bill seemingly enlisted the help of a PR specialist, who he had apparently been in talks with for months before his relationship turned into a media nightmare. Last week, the former Patriots coach was accompanied to an event by PR pro Brandon Faber and Jordon was nowhere to be seen, despite initially planning to attend. And now she’s getting brushed to the side on live TV?? Seems like Bill’s finally taking the advice of the experts!
We’ll have to wait and see if Bill has completely sidelined Jordon from the rest of his business ventures, or if he’s just trying to do some damage control heading into the sports season.
