Bill Cosby Uses Gayle King's Kobe Bryant Interview Question To Victimize Himself From 'Successful Black Women'

Bill Cosby shades Gayle King for Kobe Bryant interview

In this age of headlines and Twitter clips, it’s important for people to look into the whole story before unleashing anger and negativity onto the masses.

Sadly, Snoop Dogg and Bill C*sby allowed themselves to be duped by the media trolls at CBS News who cut up footage of Gayle King’s recent outrage-inducing interview about Kobe Bryant.

As we reported, viewers were outraged after CBS teased a clip of King’s sit-down with WNBA star Lisa Leslie where they discussed the late NBA legend’s legacy — and the news anchor appeared to grill the athlete about Bryant’s 2003 rape accusation.

Among the infuriated was Snoop Dogg, apparently, who took to Instagram to post a lengthy monologue slamming King for her “attacking” the LA Lakers legend on the heels of his tragic death. He said in the selfie-style recording:

“Gayle King, out of pocket for that s**t, way out of pocket. What do you gain from that? I swear to God, we the worst, we the f–king worst. We expect more from you, Gayle, don’t you hang out with Oprah? Why you all attacking us, we your people. You ain’t coming after f**king Harvey Weinstein asking him dumb-ass questions. I get sick of you all…I wanna call you one … Funky, dog-haired bitch, how dare you try and tarnish my motherf**king homeboy’s reputation, punk motherf**ker. Respect the family and back off, bitch, before we come get you.”

Many upset fans joined Snoop’s choir — including The C*sby Show star, who compared King’s interview question about Kobe’s rape scandal to the black women (read: rape and sexual assault accusers) who tarnished his reputation.

He wrote on Twitter:

“.@SnoopDogg when they brought me to my gated community and placed me inside of my penthouse, they didn’t win nor did they silence me. It’s so sad and disappointing that successful Black Women are being used to tarnish the image and legacy of successful Black Men even in death.”

Yup, not only did Snoop call King a slew of ugly names without listening to her side of the story — Oprah’s bestie said she was “very angry” with the network for splicing up the footage of her lengthy interview and posting the clip completely “out of context” — C*sby used it to shade black women in general, while equating the allegations that landed him in jail (srsly, though, how is he tweeting!?) to Kobe’s lone accuser.

The disgraced comedian went on to thank Snoop for slamming King and threw in a Michael Jackson shout out, because, #MisconductScandalTwinsies. He tweeted:

“Are these people that in need of fame, ratings and/or money? On behalf of myself, Camille and my family, thank you, thank you and thank you. My heartfelt prayers are with Kobe and his family, as well as with Michael Jackson and his family. May their legacies live on forever.”

So, thanks to CBS News’ desperate thirst for views, Snoop’s drop-it-like-it’s-hot rage-‘Gramming, and C*sby’s clinical narcissism, a whole bunch of innocent Twitter users are walking away with the sentiment that black women are tearing down black men.

It’s official: social media is a giant game of telephone that we’re all losing.
