Bill O'Reilly Proves His Ignorance About Transgender People By Calling Caitlyn Jenner A 'He' Below The Waist! See All The Insulting Things He Said!

We don’t think he’ll ever get it…
It seems like Bill O’Reilly is at it again, making ridiculous claims but sticking to his guns!
During another night of The O’Reilly Factor (below), the talk show host had a segment about misgendering people — something O’Reilly is apparently still struggling with!

While talking about how people can identify as one of six genders, O’Reilly called a particular person a “loon” because they suggested that outlets be fined for incorrectly identifying transgender people. This ultimately sparked the Factor host to start talking about Caitlyn Jenner and say:

“Pardon me for this, but from the waist down, he is a ├óΓé¼╦£he,’ according to ├óΓé¼╦£she.'”

Yes, he really, unfortunately said that.
If only he understood that it’s really not that hard to speak about transgender people in the correct way. Just take John Oliver‘s advice when he brilliantly said:

“It’s pretty simple: call them whatever they want to be called. You can do it. We do it all the time. David Evans woke up one day and said, ├óΓé¼╦£Everyone call me The Edge.’ And we all went, ├óΓé¼╦£Fine, The Edge, are we talking the noun or the verb?'”

Though it may be hard for you to simply substitute one word for another based on common courtesy of someone’s wishes, we believe in you Bill!
Though it should be noted that O’Reilly doesn’t really have the best track record of supporting transgender people. In June of last year, he invited parents who had a transgender child onto his show, only to tell them that they were doing it wrong in supporting their kid!
The 65-year-old host even went on to say that he wouldn’t be willing to acknowledge any requests of a transgender child who wants to be identified in a particular way. Way to be fair and keep an open mind!
At the end of the day, at least we have people like him who remind us how not to act!
