When even the worst people think what you said was inappropriate.
As you surely know, Roseanne Barr got her show canceled this week when she sent out a racist tweet aimed at President Barack Obama‘s former aide, Valerie Jarrett.
As people applaud ABC‘s decision not to stand for hateful commentary, a few voices we didn’t expect to hear were those of Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, and yes, even Tammy Tomi Lahren.

The former Fox News host said the network was right to pull the plug by tweeting:
Roseanne Barr’s vicious personal attack on former Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett came out of nowhere and cost Ms. Barr and the entire staff of her program their jobs. @ABC/@Disney could not continue with the show without insulting millions of Americans.

The stunning fall of Roseanne has wide implications but the primary damage is to America. By attacking Valerie Jarrett in a gross personal way, Ms. Barr sent a signal to the nation’s 13 million African-Americans that white racism is indeed alive and well. https://t.co/SnJjKRTYvb

Hannity called the comments “outrageous” on his radio show:
“I think with social media a lot of people just send things out. Especially comedians are always in danger ’cause they just think they’re being funny and they’re not.”
And Tomi added her never-asked-for two cents by writing:
What Roseanne said was wrong. I’m sure she knows that. She made a mistake. I don’t know why fellow conservatives are playing mental gymnastics trying to justify it. Come on. Wrong is wrong.
