Chloë Sevigny Recalls The 'Generosity' & Fearlessness Of Big Love Costar Bill Paxton

We’re still just so floored that Bill Paxton is dead.
The character actor passed away from complications following heart surgery on Saturday, and days later we’re still hearing stories of his immense “generosity.”
This time, another of his Big Love wives — Ginnifer Goodwin also had wonderful things to say while on the Oscars red carpet — is paying tribute.

In an extended interview with Entertainment Weekly, Chloë Sevigny says Bill represented equal parts kindness and courage.
In fact, one might have even fed the other. Chlo├â┬½ has a theory that it was Bill’s good nature that allowed him to shine in huge, star-studded movies like The Terminator, Aliens, and True Lies:

“It’s really hard to make an impact in those big movies, with a small part. He was just fearless. He would come in and do a wild character that a lot of people wouldn’t be able to pull off. I think it’s because he was so rooted, such a good person. ‘Good person’ sounds trivial, but he truly was this grounded, rooted family man, who was so loyal to his brother, and his father, and his children. He was really exceptional.”

See, Jared Leto? You can play crazy parts without sending people dead rats.
Chloe continued:

“He was always so positive, and really loved the business, and loved creating. That was really refreshing, and inspiring. Especially going on five years on a show, it can drag a little. He helped keep things in perspective, and remember what we were doing was important. But also entertainment. He believed in entertainment being transportive and transformative. He believed in the magic of what we can bring to people. That was really a gift that he gave to me.”

Sounds like we lost a real class act.
So heartbreaking.
