It's All Good Between Billy & Elton

The Piano Man doesn’t hate the Rocket Man, so calm it down.
Not too long ago, Elton John told sources he was concerned for this long time friend and collaborator, Billy Joel. It’s no secret that Billy has had some problems with alcohol in the past and Elton simply suggested that Billy take his problems more seriously.
Then, a feud exploded! Billy supposedly sent Elton a nasty email, Elton responded saying he wished they could get past this, Billy responded through the press saying they were cool, Elton didn’t believe him – it’s been such a mess!
But yesterday, Billy sent out another message via his publicist, hoping to put the whole thing to rest. As diplomatically as he could, he told sources:

“1. I do not hate Elton John
2. I do not want to ‘punch him in the face’
3. If he wants to call me, my number is still the same.
4. Good luck with the movie.
BILLY JOEL”

That seems pleasant enough. Not so terribly sincere, but it sounds like he wants to put this whole behind him.
