Bobby Brown has dealt with a lot of tragedy over the past few years.
Just a month before the one-year anniversary of Bobbi Kristina‘s death, Bobby sat down with Robin Roberts to talk about the tragic loss of his daughter and the sad parallels with Whitney Houston‘s untimely death in 2012.

In the emotional sit down, which will air next Tuesday on ABC, the father couldn’t help but break down while opening up about Kristina’s drowning accident.
He cried out:
“My baby’s gone. I thank God I’m still here. The hardest thing I had to do in my life was tell my daughter to let go.”
So sad. Considering Krissi was in a coma for a prolonged period of time, the musician’s hurt must have been unbearable. Not to mention the 47-year-old had to deal with the possibility that Bobbi’s boyfriend Nick Gordon was involved in her death…
Elaborating on his recent tragedies, the Boston native confided:
“The same thing that happened to my daughter, it happened to Whitney.”
The similarities are disturbing and truly undeniable.
