means BUSINESS.
Following the news that Nick Gordon was ordered to pay a $36 million settlement to Mr. Brown for the death of Bobbi Kirstina, fans wondered how exactly the high bill would be paid. It’s been pretty obvious from the start Nick doesn’t have the funds to pay the judgement.

According to the singer’s lawyer, Craig Terrett, the family intends to hire a collection lawyer to get the money at any cost. An example of this would be garnishing the Florida resident’s wages.
Terrett went on to explain to People Magazine:

“Bobby is relieved to have this chapter of the process behind him, but now he intends to actively pursue the collection against Nick Gordon. We will be working with a collection attorney in Florida and we are moving forward quickly. We will be attaching the judgements to all those things in Florida… if he goes on Dr. Phil, they will get that money. If he writes a book, and so on.”

Sounds intense! We’re glad Bobby’s team has such a vigorous plan in place.
In addition, Craig reveals the estate will also go after Whitney Houston‘s engagement ring which is Gordon’s possession:

“It was Whitney’s ring and Bobby wants it back. That ring is valued ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ as determined by the courts ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ to be [worth] $1.5 million.”

Oh, and for fans who think this is all about the money, estate executor Bedelia Hargrove is adamant this is not the case:

“It is the principle more than the money. We know [Gordon] does not have that kind of money, but we never want him to profit from this. This judgement over him will make sure of that to make sure people know about his despicable behavior, how he battered her, assaulted her many times.”

Wow… everything about this situation is still so sad. No person should ever be subjected to domestic violence.
We’ll keep you updated as this case progresses.
