If Bradley Cooper and Lady GaGa are trying to kill rumors there’s something going on for real between them, this is not the way to do it.
The costars successfully “fooled” everyone into believing they were having an affair while making A Star Is Born — perhaps even their significant others as both went through breakups in the wake of their award season press tour.

So far GaGa especially has denied there’s anything romantic between the two. So what are they doing next?
Keeping their distance, right?
NOPE! According to a new source speaking to Hollywood Life, they’re going to play love interests again!
The insider spills:
“There is a very strong possibility that Lady Gaga and Bradley will be working together again on Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Only some cast names have been released but the word is Bradley will reprise his role of Rocket Raccoon and Gaga will play his love interest.”
Um, wait, what??
Bradley plays Rocket in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers films. He’s a raccoon-like creature who was rebuilt with cybernetic parts by interplanetary scientists.
And that’s who GaGa is going to play the love interest of?
What does she play, a space cat?
The source says:
“Their characters are animated but still, it’s exciting.”
Fascinating. So GaGa would also be playing a CG character — and thus would only be needed for a voice.
That means the actors themselves would never even be in a room together until the premiere, likely in 2022 thanks to the delay from the firing of James Gunn.
Still, the source says, it’s a stunt casting that could pay off at the box office:
“Audiences want them together and certainly everyone recognizes that appeal, they’re box office gold together, it’s very likely that this will happen.”
While the Marvel Studios movies certainly aren’t wanting for built-in audience, it never hurts superhero movies to appeal to the rom com crowd, as evidenced by the surprisingly successful ad campaign for the first Deadpool.
Hmm. Not sure we buy that this is so “likely.”
But we’ve definitely been surprised by Marvel before!
However, with one new potential reunion we lose another. This source is shooting down rumors of BCoop and GaGa returning to the stage together to perform their A Star Is Born hit Shallow at this year’s Glastonbury:
“Bradley and Lady Gaga realize that A Star Is Born was a moment in time and very special and they will never forget their performances of the song especially during the Oscars but they don’t have a plan to perform it again because they don’t want to dilute the song and ruin the history they have made with it.”
Makes sense.
