Britney Spears is “upset” with her father, Jamie Spears, amid his abuse allegations.
As we reported, the …Baby One More Time singer’s sons — 13-year-old Sean Preston and 12-year-old Jayden James — were granted a restraining order against their grandfather after an alleged August 24 altercation between Jamie and Sean.

On Wednesday, a People source gave more details about the alleged incident, saying Sean “locked himself in a room” after Jamie asked him to do something “he wasn’t interested in doing.”
Allegedly, “there was physical contact that made Sean scared and upset,” and “Britney got upset as well and ended their visit with Jamie.”
(Per The Blast on Wednesday, father Kevin Federline found out about the drama that night, and reported it to authorities the next day. The website also said Jamie allegedly broke down the door after Sean locked himself in, and “violently shook” the teen.)
The insider added:
“Both of Britney’s boys are very well-behaved and well-mannered. What happened with Jamie and Sean was very unfortunate and definitely not right.”
The source also divulged the songstress “can’t believe that her dad would jeopardize her relationship with her boys,” as she “is always terrified that she will lose custody.”
Speaking of custody…
While it was previously noted Federline would have the boys 70% of the time, The Blast reported on Tuesday he will now have them 90% of the time.
Additionally, Britney’s visits with her kids will reportedly need to be monitored by another adult who has been approved by Kevin and the court. That person cannot be Jamie.
Reportedly, the 37-year-old can no longer have any more overnight visits.
Per TMZ on Wednesday, there were no visible injuries or bruises on Sean after the alleged fiasco.
Reportedly, all parties have spoken to investigators, and the case has been submitted to the Ventura County District Attorney for review.
Though The Blast insiders believe Jamie is likely to be charged with a misdemeanor battery, the decision is ultimately up to the District Attorney.
Back in June, during Britney’s permanent restraining order hearing against ex-manager Sam Lutfi, Lutfi’s attorney — Marc Gans — asked Jamie about his relationship with his daughter prior to being her conservator.
In response, the 66-year-old reportedly said in court:
“Me and my daughter’s relationship has always been strained.”
The musician was ultimately granted her request, which required Sam to stay away from Britney, her parents, and her kids to “prevent future harm and further psychological trauma.”
