Britney Spears will NOT be a slave for haters!
The Toxic singer took to Instagram on Tuesday night to share a few words about ignoring negativity and watching out for untrustworthy people.
Explaining to fans how “people can be fake,” the 37-year-old shared a photo of text reading:
“Pay close attention to the people who don’t clap when you win.”
That’ll expose the haters in friends’ clothing — something Brit has naturally dealt with her entire life!

She expanded on this more in the caption, writing:
“Living in LA is such a trip !!! It can be lonely at times. You never know who to trust, and some people can be fake. I have a very small circle of friends, and simply do what makes me happy!!!”
One thing making her happy these days? Not looking at the sewer of negativity that is her Instagram comments section!
The Grammy winner added:
“It breaks my heart to see the comments on my posts sometimes …. So I simply choose not to look anymore … let the clever haters do what they do best …. hate!!!”
Or, she could just disable the comments altogether — but where’s the fun in that?!
Her BF Sam Asghari chimed in too, writing:
“Winners don’t hate or bully. Losers (haters) only do because they don’t have what you have (which is the best heart in the world).”
Weirdly enough, Brit’s overwhelmingly negative IG messages have been a controversial topic among her fans, as the singer’s team has been accused of quietly deleting the **positive** ones on her posts to make it seem like she needs help!
Back in June, the account for AbsoluteBritney.com posted on their own IG feed:
“So Britney’s team is deleting positive comments on her Instagram post and leaving negative ones to keep up the illusion that she needs help! They were all so quick to remove all comments before but now all the sudden they are leaving all negative ones but removing positive ones! How much longer is this going to be?!? This has to be human rights violation!!!! #FreeBritney”
Ah, we love a good con-Spears-acy theory!
Whether or not her comments are filtered to be more negative, the star continues to receive positive support from her many fans — and, of course, her maybe-fiancé Sam Asghari.
The 25-year-old wrote under the performer’s post:
“Winners don’t hate or bully, losers (haters) only do because they don’t have what you have (which is the best heart in the world) ♥️.”
When they go low, think… What Would Britney Do?
