Britney Spears Is Moving Forward, Has No Fear Of 'Repeating What Happened In 2007 And 2008'

Britney Spears mental health recovery

It sounds like Britney Spears sure is ready to move forward!
The superstar recently spent 30 days at a California mental health facility, but now that she’s out, her feet are reportedly planted firmly on the ground and her sights are set exclusively on her future — a solid plan considering she sounds REALLY ready to move forward!

According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly about Spears’ release from the mental health facility and what it means for her going forward, it sounds like the pop star is specifically NOT concerned that she’ll repeat any of her infamously erratic behavior from over a decade ago.
Back in 2007 and 2008, you’ll remember, the star did things like shaving her head and attacking a photog’s car with her umbrella, many of which were caught on camera at the time as she had became a media obsession.
But now, the source revealed, things are very different this time around (below):

“Britney doesn’t live in fear of repeating what happened in 2007 and 2008. Is that period of time in the back of her mind? Sure, sometimes. But she doesn’t let it affect her day-to-day routine. She’s come such a long way as a performer, as a mother and as a person — and that includes knowing when it’s time to take the necessary steps to seek help.”

Nice!!! We can only hope that she’s grown and gotten to a much healthier place since then — even as she’s hit new adversity and battled new troubles more recently.

As you’ll recall, the Grammy winner first announced back in January that she was taking an indefinite work hiatus to care for her father’s health. Later, in March, she entered a wellness center to, officially, deal with stress and a few other mental health triggers that had popped up in her life while reportedly caring for her father, Jamie Spears.
Then, after about 30 days in the facility, Spears was released on April 25 when boyfriend Sam Asghari came to pick her up and reunite the singer with her sons. Here’s hoping she’ll be happy, healthy, and at home for quite a while now!
What do U think about all this, Perezcious readers?! Sound off on Britney’s recovery from mental health triggers and SO much more in the comments (below)!!!!
