Despite dealing with the ongoing drama surrounding her mental health and conservatorship hearings, the pop superstar was apparently in a very unserious mood following a therapy session on Thursday.

Fresh out of the session, the 37-year-old recorded herself making a series of funny, animated faces and shared it with her fans on Instagram. She wrote in the caption:
“… after therapy and being too serious it’s so nice to be silly!!!!!”
You can say that again, gurl!

As of this writing, the video has garnered over 2.6 million views along with thousands of positive, supportive comments — the most supportive of which, unsurprisingly, came from Brit’s ever-uplifting boyfriend Sam Asghari, who gushed over his lady love’s penchant for being “#humble” and “#real” on social media.
He wrote:
“Inspiring people to be themselves rather than trying to get others approval #humble #real”
Ironically, Brit’s Instagram has been accused of being very un-#real as of late.
As we reported, a large number of fans have themselves convinced that the posts on Brit’s ‘gram are actually uploaded by her team: a con-Spears-ity that grew after an unnamed source claimed that the singer had no control over her life and was being held at that mental health facility against her will earlier this year.
While Britney later confirmed to a judge at her conservatorship status hearing that she was, in fact, held at that wellness center against her will, she’s since made it clear to fans that she calls the shots when it comes to her Insta.
Last week, the Piece of Me performer posted a selfie-style video on the social platform with a direct message to her skeptics, saying that anyone who thinks she doesn’t post her own vids is “wrong.” (To illustrate her point, Brit proceeded to post a video of herself rocking several fashionable ensems to the sounds of Rihanna’s Man Down. [Suck it, doubters.])

Meanwhile, the mother-of-two was granted a new restraining order against her former manager Sam Lutfi in order “to prevent future harm and further psychological trauma” to Spears and her family members, according to court docs.
Let’s not forget about the ongoing rumors that, despite having recently completed her 30-day treatment program, the star still isn’t in control of her emotions and is said to be in no mental shape to perform.
Clearly, it’s been a serious past few months for the Toxic songstress… which is why it’s such a relief to see her goofing out on her IG like this!
