Yesterday, The X Factor season two auditions kicked off in Austin, TX with its new judging panel of Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, LA Reid and Simon Cowell!
Everything seemed to be off to a great start…that is, until Mz. Brit Brit was nowhere to be found!!!
Midway through the show, after a hopeful got up and “butchered” Brit’s Hold It Against Me, she supposedly got up and walked out!
Four contestants came and went and Britney was STILL missing!
After the audience was left wondering where she could have gone, reportedly, it was revealed that Britney wasn├óΓé¼Γäót infuriated by the horrible rendition of her song — she ├óΓé¼┼ôjust took a short break.├óΓé¼┬¥
Mz. Spears then took to her Twitter, tweeting:
“#Britneywalksoff├óΓé¼┬¼??? LOL was just taking a little break people. I am having the BEST time!!!”
Phew!!!
As for Demi and Britney’s first day, overall? A source says X Factor bosses are “very happy” with their performances on the show so far!
The insider spilled:
“They were both fantastic ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ it’s only day one and already there’s a lot of chemistry between them all. Britney has definitely proved she can do this role.”
Afterwards, Simon also tweeted and called the Austin auds “one of the best audition days we have ever done” and LA said it was “sensational.”
Wow! Way to go, gurls!
We can’t wait to hear more from the next audition cities as well as tune in this fall!
