Brittany Murphy's Mother Can't Move On

We’re sure it’s hard for anyone who has lost a child to accept it, but it can’t be healthy to pretend like it didn’t happen at all – especially after a year has gone by!

Brittany Murphy’s mother, Sharon Murphy, admits that she’s yet to come to terms with the death of her daughter and son-in-law because of the strange circumstances under which they both died. She explains to In Touch Weekly that “just in order to function” day by day, she pretends it just didn’t happen. She adds that instead, she seeks solice in remebering better times spent with them, especially her daughter. She explains:

“I’m always remembering times with her. She would always say that we grew up together, and that’s true. We were so close, and such great friends… I feel their presence here. It’s comforting.”

She’s referencing Brittany’s Beverly Hills mansion – the same place Brittany was found dead in over a year ago and the same place Sharon has not left in quite some time.

She’s obviously in pain and we feel really bad for her. Hope she can find some closure, poor thing.
