This morning, the notes from the coroner’s report were leaked onto the Internet, detailing the massive amounts of drugs found in the home of Brittany Murphy. Though the cause of death has still not been revealed, as they are waiting for the toxicology report to be completed, an expert from the University Of Florida College of Medicine thinks that her death could have been an accidental overdose.
The same kind of overdose that took the young life of Heath Ledger.
Dr. Bruce Goldberger, a professor and the Director of Toxicology studies at the university “absolutely” feels that the mixture of drugs found in her possession could have easily resulted in her death. Furthermore, he relates her death as being more similar to the circumstance leading up to the death of Heath Ledger, rather than some who have compared the tragedy to Michael Jackson’s demise. Dr. Goldberger said:
├óΓé¼┼ôIt is more likely to be like the Heath Ledger scenario where we had death from an accidental overdose…Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine.”
Hydrocodone was one of the drugs found at Brittany’s home.
So very sad to lose such young and bright people this way.
