This is quite the controversy!!!
Love & Hip Hop star Brittney Taylor was arrested early on Friday morning after New York City cops showed up to the high rise where she lives in response to a call about a massive brawl that was apparently taking place on multiple floors of the building!

According to a report out in TMZ, Taylor was in her midtown NYC high rise apartment when another woman at her place early Friday morning began to argue with her. The pair got heated, and things eventually got physical — with Brittney allegedly scratching the woman so badly she left marks on the alleged victim’s skin.
That was far from the end, though; the woman allegedly fled into an elevator to leave the scene, but Taylor was apparently SO upset, she hopped into a different elevator and met the woman down in the lobby — where she allegedly continued to beat and physically assault her. According to reports, Taylor allegedly “pulled a Naomi Campbell” by throwing her cell phone at the woman and reportedly hitting her in the forehead with it. Ouch!!!
Eventually, Brittney went back up to her apartment, but very soon after the NYPD showed up and managed to arrest her on charges of assault and aggravated harassment. Both those charges are misdemeanors, so things could’ve gone significantly worse for Taylor, but even so she was forced to spend a few hours in jail immediately after the arrest. Later on Friday morning, she was released on her own recognizance without bail.
According to Taylor’s attorney, Sanford Rubenstein, the reality TV maven will re-appear in a New York courtroom next month to face up to the charges and continue her route through the criminal justice system.

What goes around apparently comes around for the Love & Hip Hop star, too; as you might remember from several months ago, Remy Ma is currently facing the EXACT same charges after she allegedly punched Brittney in April during a concert. So much drama in the L&HH world!!!!
For now, though, Taylor must weight as things wind their way through the legal system.
Seriously, though… who goes so far as to take the elevator more than 35 floors downstairs to make sure they can finish off the assault they started?? That’s either commitment… or crazy!!
