Bryan Singer Is Going Rogue And Announces Extended Cut Of X-Men: Days Of Future Past!

XMen Rogue Cut
Great news, all of you mutant lovers! Now you’ll get to see EVEN MORE of your favorite superhero team and stars!
Bryan Singer, director of the X-men movies– excluding X3, of course — just announced yesterday on Twitter via interview through Periscope, when they’ll be releasing the extended version of Singer’s most recent box office smash X-men: Days of Future Past.
Following the interview, he confirmed the news and tweeted out:

Rogue Cut is a cute play on words meaning extended cut, as one of the main characters from the original trilogy was Rogue, played by Anna Paquin. Unfortunately for Anna, her role was majorly cut out of the most recent film, something Singer’s Rogue Cut will add back in during the 17 extra minutes of footage he’s promised! So, we’d have to say this version was VERY accurately named!
X-Men: DOFP follows Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, as he’s sent into the past to attempt to change history and prevent events that would set up a doomsday-like scenario for both humans and mutants.
If that’s not intriguing enough, how about it’s star studded cast that you’ll get to see more of which, besides Jackman and Paquin, includes: James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Nicolas Hoult, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, Shawn Ashmore and Evan Peters!

In separate interviews, both Hoult and Lawrence have expressed that that the upcoming sequel titled X-Men: Apocalypse, could be Holut’s last and would be J. Law’s last movie in the franchise. We’ll have to wait for May 27, 2016 to check out that reported sex scene between these two former lovebirds, but until then we’re just happy we might get a few extra golden moments with them in the Rogue Cut!
Are you stoked to see more footage from Days of Future Past or nah? Either way, you can ch-ch-check it out or pick up a copy of X-Men’s Rogue Cut when it drops on Blu-ray and DVD July 14th!
