TikTok Stars Bryce Hall & Jaden Hossler Arrested On Drug Charges In Texas

TikTok stars Bryce Hall and Jaden Hossler, both members of the Los Angeles creative collective known as Sway House, were arrested on Monday in Lee County, Texas, and hit with drug possession charges.

The two, who have nearly 13 million combined followers on the app, were embarking on a cross-country road trip together when they found themselves in legal trouble. Footage quickly made its way online (see it HERE) showing the Memorial Day arrest in TX, where the boys can be seen speaking with police officers and being pulled over.

20-year-old Hall was arrested for possession of marijuana greater than 2 oz, less than 4 oz, and posted his $5,000 bail for the misdemeanor charge today. 19-year-old Hossler was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, less than 400 grams, which is a felony. He was also charged with possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces, and posted $6,5000 bail on Tuesday.

Marijuana is illegal to use or possess under Texas law, and medical cannabis use is legal in very limited circumstances in the state. In the state of California, marijuana has been legal for adults 21 and over to use and possess since 2016.

From recent posts made to their respective TikTok accounts, it appears at least two other members of the Sway House, Josh Richards and Blake Gray, were also on the trip with them, though Hall and Hossler were the only ones arrested. People reported that after being released from custody on Tuesday, Hall tweeted “I’m back,” while Hossler wrote “Hi,” but it appears that both tweets have since been deleted.

Many fans initially expressed their frustration last week with the young stars when it was announced that they would be taking a road trip because coronavirus restrictions are still in place. Take a look at what some critics had to say via Twitter:
