BTS' Management Apologizes After Photos Show Members In Nazi Hat & Atomic Bomb Shirt

BTS Apologizes Nazi Symbol

BTS have come under fire recently after old pics resurfaced showing RM wearing a hat with a Nazi symbol on it, along with a photoshoot taken in the Holocaust Memorial with a couple of members.
The shots, which came to light again on Reddit, along with the denouncement of the band from the Simon Wiesenthal Center, finally led the K-Pop group’s management to issue an apology on Facebook Tuesday.

In case you haven’t seen the controversial shots, RM is seen with a green camouflage hate featuring the Nazi Imperial Eagle and a swastika. In the photoshoot, he and fellow members Jin and Suga are seen posing for a photobook in the memorial.
Director of Global Social Action, Rabbi Abraham Cooper, said in a release:

“It goes without saying that this group, which was invited to speak at the UN, owes the people of Japan and the victims of the Nazism an apology.”

The singers caused controversy again very recently after Jimin was seen wearing a shirt with “PATRIOTISM OUR HISTORY LIBERATION KOREA” and a picture of an atomic bomb on the back. In possible celebration of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, he was criticized for the insensitive move!
Big Hit Entertainment, the group’s management, took the fall for the controversies in their new apology. See it (below) in Korean, English, and Japanese:

Is this explanation enough to forgive BTS?? Sound off in the comments (below)!
