Butler's A Free Man

In case you forgot, back in October 2008, Gerard Butler got into a little altercation with a paparazzo.

Butler was at the premiere party for RockNRolla when he was reportedly being pestered and chased by a pap and punched the guy in the face.

He was then charged with assault and faced possibly six months in jail.

Though good news for Butler as a judge yesterday dropped his misdemeanor battery charge now that Gerard has completed his community service.

The City Attorney’s spokesman claims prosecutors are “satisfied” with the outcome.

We’re sure Butler is too. He’s too cute for jail.
