Almost 70 years later and Carmen Dell’Orefice is still in the game!
At 83-years old, the supermodel just snagged her latest cover: the front page of New You magazine’s Spring issue!
And the “world’s oldest working supermodel”, as dubbed by the mag, looks absolutely amazing in her black blazer, opera gloves, and bevy of pearls.

We can only hope we age as gracefully as she, which speaking of, Carmen confessed:
“I have had more magazine covers in the last 25 years than I have had in my whole elongated career. Today I am in a territory that business considers unmarketable: age and white hair. Slowly, however, I started to own that territory little by little because I stood up for age.”
She’s not alone! Kate Spade signed on with 93-year-old Iris Apfel for their Spring campaign, and Saint Laurent did the same with Joni Mitchell.
Hopefully it’s not just a trend– but we’ve got a pretty good feeling it won’t be!
So here’s to more women like Carmen breaking age boundaries and bringing diversity to the fashion industry!
