Seriously! They’re wayyy different!
Just because Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are both country-poptarts doesn’t mean they offer the same flavor! How stereotypical! Pfft!
And Carrie is absolutely tired of the comparisons!
When she’s not busy fighting the hateful backlash to her gay marriage support, she’s arguing her case for the differences between her and Swifty, saying:
“I’m a little bit older than she is and I feel like our music’s completely different and if anyone tries to make any comparisons they really haven’t listened to either one of us. Our songs are definitely different. She sings a little bit lighter sometimes and it’s just a difference in our brand of country.”
There you have it!
Swifty generally brings the raw softness, and Carrie brings the sassy toughness!
So don’t make the mistake of comparing them again… ‘less you want those cowboy boots walkin’ all over you! 😉
