Carrie Underwood got real on CBS Sunday Morning a few hours ago, revealing some really big — and heartbreaking — news to the morning show in regards to her attempts to build a family.

As you can see in the full feature interview video (above, beginning at about 4:50), Underwood reveals on the show that she’s had three miscarriages in the last two years — without question an unbelievably traumatic thing to go through for both her and NHL hubby Mike Fisher.
It’s disarming to watch her break down so emotionally over the miscarriages, too — she’s very, very clearly affected by them and the emotion and pain really comes through on the video. Tough to watch.
