Carrie Underwood Plays It Safe

Hey, Carrie!
Don’t hate! Appreciate the different ways that people express themselves politically.
For goodness sake, this is America!
In a recent interview Underwood said, “I lose all respect for celebrities when they back a candidate. It’s saying that the American public isn’t smart enough to make their own decisions. I would never want anybody to vote for anything or anybody just because I told them to.”
We think that’s an unfair statement, Carrie!
Why are you assuming to know where people are coming from when they voice their political opinions?
