Wowsa!
When Carrie Underwood says ‘I Do’ on Saturday to hockey player Mike Fisher, it’s gonna cost half a million dollars!
The ceremony will be held at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, in Greensboro, Georgia and the couple booked out the entire hotel totaling $268,000 for the night.
“She has blocked off all 251 rooms at the hotel,” said Carey Williams, editor of The Herald Journal in Greensboro.
Guests of the hotel who were not invited to the wedding were given letters requiring that they leave the premises by 12pm on Friday.
Carrie and Mike will spend their first night as husband and wife in the Presidential House, which costs $4,000 a night. It is a 5,400 square-foot suite that comes with two king-size rooms and two double bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, terrace with access to the recreation room, private pool, living room and dining room which seats 16 people.
“Carrie will be flying in by helicopter on Friday,” added Williams.
A tent has been resurrected on the ground and along with the waterways near the hotel, so no one will be able to peer at the bride.
Sounds fun AND expen$ive!
