We fondly remember this time last year when Cate Blanchett was everywhere!
Her presence on the red carpet has definitely been missed, so thank goodness for the AACTA Awards, which the actress attended in Sydney on Thursday.

The pink satin kimono-sleeve Alexander McQueen gown she wore was highly reminiscent of a fancy robe a rich lady would don while hanging out in her boudoir waiting for her lover or something.
And, actually, Rihanna wore something similar out in New York several months ago!
Is it time to declare nightgown-chic an emerging trend, or should this style be left in the bedroom?
Making things even naughtier, Cate admitted that she wasn’t wearing any “knickers” with the gown!
She could pretty much go home and go to sleep without even taking the dress off!
Maybe that’s the appeal of this type of outfit, after all.
