In a recent interview, Celine Dion revealed how much she is loving her second stint on the Vegas stage and how the experience has meant so much to her. She was then asked if she thought younger performers like Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue should consider following her lead and think about performing on the strip as well. Celine whole-heartedly thought they should, saying:
├óΓé¼┼ôIf Britney and Kylie want to come to Vegas and do a residency like me, I say go for it. Vegas is changing. There is room for everyone – new singers and older ones…When I first came here in 2003, people said my career was over. I├óΓé¼Γäóm here because I love singing, and this allows me to be with my family.├óΓé¼┬¥
Her career is so far from over! If anything, her Vegas show catapulted her back to the top! And did you hear the part about having more time with her family, Britney? You know, Celine has three boys of her own and she’s able to spend time with them AND put a show on every night. Plus, you seemed to really like Sin City when you were in town last month for your surprise show.
Just think about it, Brit Brit. It would be a stable gig, with no traveling or hassle. The fans will flock to you, we promise!
