Baby on board!!
As we previously shared, news broke over the weekend that Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are expecting their first child together!
While the pair haven’t confirmed the news publicly just yet, an E! News source says they are (obviously) so excited to expand their brood:
“They are completely thrilled to be starting a family. Family is everything to them and it’s a very exciting time. The baby is due early fall. Katherine shared the news with her family very early on.”

Miz Schwarzenegger especially couldn’t wait to share the news with her mom, Maria Shriver! The insider added:
“She tells her mom everything and couldn’t wait. Maria is especially thrilled with the news and can’t wait to be a grandma. [Maria] adores Chris and she knows Katherine will be a natural mom.”
No word on how Arnold Schwarzenegger is feeling just yet, but we’re sure he’s totally thrilled as well!!
And according to the confidant, the couple hasn’t revealed the baby’s gender to friends just yet, and are instead focusing on taking it easy at home:
“[Katherine] hasn’t done a lot to prepare yet. She hasn’t wanted to jinx anything. But she is very much enjoying being at home and having this time to relax and really enjoy being pregnant.”
As you’ll recall, the couple got hitched last June after announcing their engagement in January. Katherine’s bundle of joy will be her first child and Chris’ second. The Guardians of the Galaxy star shares 7-year-old son Jack with his ex-wife Anna Faris.
But adjusting to motherhood doesn’t seem like it will be too big a feat for The Gift Of Forgiveness author, who loves kids and babies already:
“She always dotes on her friends kids and, of course, her stepson Jack. She is gentle, loving and caring. She has such motherly instincts and loves to take care of everyone already.”
Of course, Mr. Pratt knows his wife will be a great momma! He shared with E! News in March:
“She has changed my life for the better in so many ways. My heart, my soul, my son—I feel all are so safe with he. She’s a great step mom, she’s god willing going to be a great mom one day.”
So exciting!! Congrats again to the couple!
